The HRFC 7s Tournament is quickly approaching! We rely on the entire club to ensure our tournament is a success and we need some volunteers to get donations from our local Giant food stores. This will be used to purchase food for the 7s tournament social. It’s really easy:

1. Visit: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B45AAAB2FAAFE3-49433105-harrisburg
2. Choose your local Giant(s) from the list and sign up for that Giant
3. Once I see you are signed up, I will email you a copy of the letter for your Giant(s) selected.
4. Print out the letter. If you are unable to print the letter, I can arrange to meet you and get you a printed copy.
5. Go to the Giant, take the letter to the Customer Service Desk
6. Hand them the letter and ask for a donation.
7. They will give you a $20/$25 Giant gift card
8. Give the gift card to Scooter or Reapsome ASAP (due date: Friday, June 21st)

WANTED: 38th Annual Harrisburg 7’s Rugby Tournament Sponsors!!!

The Harrisburg 7’s Rugby Tournament is HRFC’s BIGGEST fundraiser of the year. Amongst rugby enthusiasts, it is widely considered to be one of the best – if not THE BEST – 7’s rugby tournament on the East Coast. Our club cannot pull off this amazing feat year after year without the help of generous sponsorships, advertisements, and donations. That is where we need YOUR help.

SPONSORSHIP FORM: PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS PDF explaining in more detail as to what each level of sponsorship is entitled to and as well as the cost for each level of sponsorship. The form is can be filled out and submitted to sevensprogram@harrisburgrugby.com money can be collected in a check or on the HRFC webstore. All sponsorships need to be submitted no later than June 7th.

We are in search of major & minor sponsorship for our annual 7’s tournament. This year we have broken the sponsorships into different levels:
– Tournament sponsor at $2,000, this is a main sponsor for the tournament, all communications would have the sponsors information and logos sent in partnership with the tournament information as well as other benefits for being the tournament sponsor.
– Referee Sponsor at $1,000, this is a major sponsor for the referee’s kit. Sponsor information is to be displayed on referee gear having them be a walking billboard for the next 1-3 years or as often as they wear the supplied kit.
– Field sponsors are at between $500 – $300, these sponsors get recognition at the tournament as well as in the program, and post communication.
– Finally we have minor sponsorships, these range from $125-$25. These sponsors display their information in the digital program distributed to all teams and participants as well as displayed on the HRFC website and mass media sites.

This is our biggest money maker of the year, the proceeds of this tournament go to the betterment of Perseverance Lodge Field Complex, the more we bring in the better the pitches and facilities can become. MANDATORY CIPP INFORMATION

• ALL players on your roster MUST BE CIPP’d before playing in the Harrisburg 7s Rugby Tournament!

MANDATORY RELEASE / ROSTER FORMS

• Must be filled out in advance of first game, PRIOR TO PLAYING FIRST MATCH OF THEY DAY – NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Please use the roster which may be completed online HERE. One for each team entered. Roster limit twelve (12) per side entered. Under tournament rules players must stay with team they are rostered on throughout competition unless captain of opposing side consents in advance to roster amendment.
• TEAM SCORE SHEETS can be downloaded HERE. These are great for keeping track of match scoring.
